What is a Capacitive sensing touch switch? Touch switches are classified according to their switching principles into resistive touch switches and capacitive touch film switches.

Among various technologies, capacitive touch sensing technology has become the mainstream of touch sensing technology, and in terms of button solutions, it can bring overall appearance improvement to the product.
The Capacitive sensing touch switch can penetrate the insulating material shell more than 20mm (glass, plastic, etc.), accurately detect the effective touch of fingers, ensure that the sensitivity, stability, reliability, etc. of the product will not change due to changes in environmental conditions or long-term use, and has waterproof and strong anti-interference capabilities.
There are many kinds of Multi-touch technologies, but the following four are more mature.
1. LLP (laser light plane) technology mainly uses infrared laser equipment to project infrared onto the screen. When the screen is blocked, infrared light will reflect, and the camera below the screen will capture the direction of the reflection. After systematic analysis, a response can be made.
2. FTIR (Frustrated Total Internal Reflection) technology adds LED light to the interlayer of the screen. When the user presses the screen, it causes different reflection effects on the interlayer's light. The sensor receives changes in the light and captures the user's application point, thereby responding.
3. The "ToughtLight technology" uses projection to project infrared light onto the screen. When the screen is blocked, infrared light will reflect, and the camera below the screen will capture the direction of the reflection. After systematic analysis, a response can be made.
4. Optical Touch technology ", which has two lenses at the top of the screen at each end to receive user gestures and contact positions. After calculation, it is converted into coordinates before making a response.
Compared to traditional switches
The Capacitive sensing touch switch does not require the human body to contact the metal directly, and can completely eliminate the potential safety hazard. It can be used even with gloves, and is not affected by the change of human resistance in dry and wet weather, so it is more convenient to use. Without any mechanical components, it will not wear out, has an infinite lifespan, and reduces maintenance costs in the later stage. The sensing part can be placed behind any insulation layer (usually glass or plastic material), making it easy to make a keyboard that is sealed with the surrounding environment.
The panel pattern can be designed according to your preferences, with buttons of any size and shape, and any combination of characters, trademarks, and perspective windows. The appearance is beautiful, fashionable, non fading, non deformation, and durable. Fundamentally solving the effects that various metal panels and mechanical panels cannot achieve.
