Common methods for detecting pressure sensors
It is very important to detect the pressure sensor when using it. The detection pressure sensor has different detection items and methods based on its purpose. The following are three methods for detecting pressure sensors:
1. Pressure detection
The method of checking the sequence is to supply power to the sensor, blow the air hole of the pressure sensor with a nozzle, and use the voltage range of a multimeter to detect the voltage change at the sensor output terminal. If the relative sensitivity of the pressure sensor is large, then this change will be significant. If there is no change, it is necessary to apply pressure using a pneumatic source. By using the above methods, it is basically possible to detect the status of a sensor. If precise detection is required, a standard pressure source is required to apply pressure to the sensor and calibrate the sensor based on the magnitude of the pressure and the variation of the output signal. If conditions permit, perform temperature detection of relevant parameters.
2. Zero point detection
Use the voltage range of a multimeter to detect the zero output of the sensor without applying pressure. This output is usually at mV level voltage. If the sensor specifications are exceeded, the zero deviation of the sensor is out of range.
3. Detect Bridge Road
The main circuit of the detection sensor is correct. It uses an ohmmeter with a multimeter to measure the impedance between the input terminals and the impedance between the output terminals. These two impedances are the input and output impedances of the pressure sensor. If the impedance is infinite, the bridge is disconnected, indicating a problem with the sensor or incorrect pin definition.
