Facial mask is to screen color ink to the back of transparent polymer. Once the screen printing is completed and cut into shape, this layer will become a color facial mask layer. The facial mask layer is an integral part of the membrane switch. It can clearly display the switch function, display color, facial mask type and switch operating position. It can also play a protective role.

Facial mask material
 According to the engineer's previous experience and the verification of the use details, they will recommend several facial mask materials. Most of them use polyester materials, and there are three main materials to choose from. Their relevant characteristics are as follows:

What are the most important design considerations?
Each individual color (including background color) requires a different screen printing operation. Color ink is printed on the lower surface of photosensitive materials, and each operation requires color sorting, ink blending, screen preparation, and separate preparation and registration. Therefore, color also has a certain impact on the price of switches. 
(1) The original image and various signs can be scanned by a high-definition scanner, and high-quality and high contrast "original images" can reduce work hours.
(2) The customer's provision of original drawings is helpful for our factory's designers. Our factory adjusts ink colors according to customer requirements and color codes to ensure quality and efficiency.
(3) The lines in the facial mask drawing should be clear and coherent, otherwise it will bring great difficulties to the silk screen printing.
